Position Summary:

The Senior Implementation Consultant will partner with Bamboo Roses’ customer key business users and IT organizations to design and implement value-added business solutions.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Provide Bamboo Rose software expertise to customers and implementation partners.
  • Provide best-practice input in the definition of customer’s “to-be” business processes.
  • Prepare for and conduct conference room pilots for customers, demonstrating the capabilities of the Bamboo Rose Merchandise Lifecycle Management suite.
  • Configure the MLM application to support the customer’s business processes.
  • Work closely with customer and implementation partner team members in the definition and execution of test scripts.
  • Monitor project progress relative to assigned tasks and communicate progress regularly to Bamboo Rose team or implementation partner project manager.
  • Work with Bamboo Rose design, development and quality assurance teams to ensure the customer’s software solution needs are met.
  • Prepare process, installation, operating procedure and user/trainer training documentation.
  • Support the delivery of end user and train-the-trainer training sessions.
  • Update and maintain project documentation and project folders in a timely manner.
  • Develop relationships with clients and internal resources.
  • Accurate and timely administrative reporting (time, forecasts)
  • Track and maintain required billability % and proactively address issues with reporting manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 3-5 years system implementation experience within the supply chain arena
  • Retail/consumer products experience (business or information technology)
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively at all organizational levels
  • Strong and demonstrated analytical skills

Job Duties:

Provide Bamboo Rose expertise to customers in the apparel retail industry and implementation partners. Provide best-practice input in the definition of customer’s “to-be” business processes. Prepare for and conduct conference room pilots for customers, demonstrating the capabilities of the Bamboo Rose Trade Engines and marketplace product suite, especially for the apparel and retail industry. Configure the Trade Engines application to support the customer’s business process in the apparel industry. Work closely with customers and implementation partner team members in the definition and execution of test scripts. Monitor project progress relative to assigned tasks and communicate progress regularly to Bamboo Rose or implementation partner project manager. Work with Bamboo Rose design, development and quality assurance teams to ensure the customer’s software solution needs are met for pricing, merchandising, data management and market share objectives. Prepare process, installation, operating procedure and user/trainer training documentation. Support the delivery of end user and train-the trainer training sessions so that customers could utilize the software in the retail industry setting. Update and maintain project documentation and project folders in a timely manner. Develop relationships with clients and internal resources. Accurate and timely administrative reporting (time, forecasts). Track and maintain required billability percentage and proactively address issues with reporting manager.

Position requires up to 50% domestic travel.

Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), Information Technology, or a closely related field. Also requires knowledge of information systems management and data analysis.

Position Summary

The Director, Professional Services Organization will provide customers an exceptional level of customer service and support. The position will be responsible for customer-level delivery of services, which meet exceptional quality and exceed customer expectations, beyond specific project engagements.

Key Functions and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage services delivery, for assigned customers, across project streams and teams
  • Partner with Account Manager and support Account plans, including definition and support of sales activities
  • Identify opportunities for new projects: small engagements (configure changes, new features, training), mid-size (upgrades) or large engagements (implementation initiative)
  • Define assumptions and requirements, project scoping, and fees estimations as input to support SOWs
  • Meet with Bamboo Rose and customer team to review open issues and resolution plan. Coordinate internal team members to address issues
  • Understand and collaborate with customer on Bamboo Rose system plans – TSS fix pack, epacks or upgrades, migrations, hardware upgrades, software or other 3rd party component changes. Ready internal teams
  • Manage the delivery of customer engagements
  • Coordinate client requests for new features and functionality. Work with Product Design and contribute to the enhancement requirements database

The Director of Industry Consulting is an active participant in the sales cycle at Bamboo Rose. The Director of Industry Consulting strives to become a trusted advisor to customers while delivering on the complete presales value cycle: from account planning and demand generation activity, to diagnostics/assessments, presentations, business case development, and demonstrations. Position located out of our Boston area offices or out of the Mid-West.

Key Functions and Responsibilities

  • Support demand generation events for prospects – usually in the form of virtual or face-to-face presentations and/or demos
  • Coordinate and respond to customer RFIs/RFPs
  • Participate in account strategy sessions
  • Meet with customers, conduct assessments, and learn enough about them to determine Bamboo Rose fit and how to deliver presentation and demo content most effectively
  • Develop Bamboo Rose-specific value proposition hypotheses that clearly articulate “why do something, why now, why Bamboo Rose?”

Senior UI Developer

Position Summary

Collaborate closely with all team members; Operations, UX, and development, research and recommend patterns and UI structures to the design and development teams based on the stated needs of end-users and Bamboo Rose business goals. Communicate concepts clearly and iteratively at every stage of the process. Create discrete prototypes based on wireframes for proof of concept and upfront usability testing (Firework, Axure, HTML, or other lightweight prototyping tools).
